Viniculture in Oberhofen
The grapes (Riesling-Sylvaner, Pinot Noir, Solaris, Pinot Gris, Diolinoir) growing in the mild maritime climate of the vineyards located on the outskirts of Oberhofen receive plenty of alpine sunshine. Since 1933 the Oberhofen cooperative has been producing fresh, fruity wines and other specialties on 2.6 hectares of land.
Viniculture in Hilterfingen
Thanks to the Hilterfingen cooperative the vineyard in Hilterfingen is a reality. Since 2000 the village has grown grapes in its own vineyard. Situated high above Lake Thun, with a wonderful view of the region, more than 4,800 vines are thriving, 59 percent of which are Regent and 41 percent Riesling-Sylvaner.
